I can hardly believe it—Mora is celebrating its first birthday! It feels like just yesterday that I took the leap from my 10+ year corporate career to follow a dream I’d been nurturing for a long time. Leaving behind the stability of traditional employment was both exciting and terrifying. I knew I wanted to create something meaningful, something that would help people carve out moments of pause and wellbeing in their everyday lives—and that’s how Mora was born! 

Over this past year, I’ve had the privilege of watching Mora grow from an idea into a brand that has touched so many homes and hearts. Some of my favourite moments from this journey include launching our core and limited edition collections, meeting so many of you at Kingston Christmas Market (what a whirlwind that was!), and even hosting a Mora pop up at John Lewis for a week.

Each step of the way, your support has been at the heart of it all. I’ve worked alone through a lot of this process - although I've always known support from friends and family was never far away - but knowing that Mora brings a little warmth and comfort into your lives has been my biggest motivator.

Some highlights from the year:

• Spending six weeks bracing the cold at the Kingston Christmas Market
• Launching five core scents and three limited-edition collections
• Collaborating with amazing businesses and creating custom candles for your special moments
• Popping up at John Lewis, which was such an exciting milestone for us!

I’ve been so lucky to meet many of you at markets and events, hear your stories, and understand how Mora has become part of your self-care rituals and wellbeing routines. It’s moments like these that make all the hard work worth it! I can't thank you enough. 

Looking Forward
As I reflect on all that we’ve achieved in this first year, I’m even more excited for what’s to come. There are so many ideas in the pipeline—new scents, exciting collaborations, and more opportunities to create those wellbeing moments that we all need. I’m also looking forward to expanding our offerings and continuing to grow this community of like-minded people who value slow living, wellbeing, and the joy of scenting everyday moments.
